Job description:
1. Installing, administering, and troubleshooting network security solutions.
2. Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource.
3. Performing vulnerability and penetration tests, perform needed remediation for findings, delivering the related measurement standards and key performance indicators.
4. Identifying and defending against threats, and developing disaster recovery plans.
5. Configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements.
6. Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behavior.
7. Monitoring all network nodes connections through verified monitoring tools.
8. Creating network policies and authorization roles and defending against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
9. Consulting with staff, managers, and executives about the best security practices and providing technical advice.
10. Configuring and supporting security tools, such as firewalls and anti-virus software.
11. Manage, develop security projects scope around company’s needs as intended.
12. Ensure handing off project goals and milestones based on best practices by vendors.
13. Stay current on Cybersecurity trends and technological advancement.
Qualifications Required:
1. University degree in Information Technology or any IT related field.
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar field.
3. Very good knowledge in:
- L3 & L2 Network configuration and troubleshooting (Routing – Switching)
- Wires harking
- SSL communication & inspection
- Common protocols such as SSL, HTTP, DNS, SMTP and IPSec
- Strong understanding of Firewalls, configuration & troubleshooting including: IPSec, site-2-site, log analyzing
- Load balancer and proxy server
- Intermediate to expert intrusion detection system/intrusion prevention system knowledge
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, including protocols, operating systems and networks
